Prabhas' Fauzi has officially been postponed from its scheduled December 3, 2026 worldwide theatrical release. Producer Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers confirmed the delay during Nani's The Paradise pre-release event in Hyderabad on September 21.
The makers have not announced a new release date. At present, the confirmed update is only that Fauzi will not arrive on December 3, 2026.
Ravi Shankar apologised to Prabhas fans for the delay and said the team was working toward delivering the film on the scale planned for the project. Speaking about Prabhas' presentation in the film, he said audiences had not seen the actor look so grand since Baahubali and described Fauzi as a project with a similar large-scale vision.
December 3 Release Plan Changed
Mythri Movie Makers announced December 3, 2026 as Fauzi's worldwide theatrical release date in July. The postponement confirmation ends the uncertainty around whether director Hanu Raghavapudi's period action drama would arrive on that date.
Before the producer's announcement, reports suggested that production and post-production work could be linked to the delay. However, Ravi Shankar did not provide a specific production reason while confirming the postponement.
The producer's comments focused on the film's scale and the way Prabhas will be presented on screen. The production team has not shared when the revised release date announcement will be made.
Fauzi Cast and Crew
Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Fauzi is a period action drama featuring Prabhas in the lead role.
The cast includes Imanvi, Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher and Jaya Prada in key roles. T-Series Films is presenting the project.
The only confirmed scheduling update is that Fauzi will not release on December 3, 2026. The new theatrical date will be announced by the makers later.
