The official launch of the upcoming Telugu feature film titled Peddagattu Jathara took place during a grand ceremony in Hyderabad. This project marks the maiden venture of the production banner RK Reddy Films, designated as its Production No 1. The event drew several prominent personalities from the Telugu film industry who gathered to congratulate the core team and bless the new venture.
Popular filmmaker Anil Ravipudi attended the launch event as the chief guest. He sounded the traditional clapboard for the muhurtham shot and officially unveiled the title poster of the film. The movie introduces a fresh face, Viransh, who makes his debut as a lead actor in Tollywood with this project.
Star-Studded Launch Ceremony
The launch event featured several traditional rituals to mark the beginning of production. While director Anil Ravipudi clapped for the opening scene, noted spiritual personality Devi Sri Guruji switched on the camera to initiate the filming process.
Acclaimed film producer Shivalenka Krishna Prasad handed over the bound script to the director and producer, wishing the entire unit a successful shooting schedule and a grand box office outcome.
The film is being bankrolled by producer A. Ramakrishna Reddy on a massive budget under the RK Reddy Films banner. The production house aims to maintain high technical standards throughout the execution of this project, ensuring a visually engaging cinematic experience for the audience.
Cast and Technical Crew Details
Director Vijay Kumar C.H. is helming the project, anchoring the story around a backdrop that blends entertainment with emotional depth. The title refers to a well-known rural festival, suggesting that the narrative will heavily incorporate regional cultural elements and a festive atmosphere.
The makers have assembled an ensemble supporting cast to complement the debutant lead actor. The film stars Devi Prasad, Meena Kumari, Satyakrishna, Surekha Vani, and Baahubali fame Prabhakar. Popular comedy and character actors including Dhanraj, Thagubothu Ramesh, Ajay Ghosh, Nagamahesh, Balagam Ramesh, and Loukya are set to portray key roles in the movie.
On the technical side, the project features a skilled team of technicians. Nagarjuna handles the cinematography as the Director of Photography, while Girish Devang is the art director. The musical segments and background tracks will feature lyrics penned by award-winning writers Suddala Ashok Teja and Kasarla Shyam.
The direction department includes co-director Arjun Mogalipaka, chief associate T. Nagendra, and associates Naresh M and Vishal Dhondi. Publicity and media relations are managed by the veteran public relations team Vamsi-Shekhar.
