The proposed Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna multistarrer with director Anil Ravipudi remains at the reported development stage, with no official confirmation yet that the film has entered full-scale pre-production. The latest available reports indicate that Ravipudi has worked out the basic storyline and has been developing the screenplay for a commercial entertainer built around both senior stars.
The project surfaced in industry reports in August, with the film described as a full-length multistarrer rather than an extended guest appearance. The reported plan is to give Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna substantial roles within the same story, combining comedy, family drama and commercial elements associated with Ravipudi's filmmaking.
Script Work Reported, Production Timeline Still Unconfirmed
While script development has been reported, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Ravipudi have not publicly announced the film. No production banner, supporting cast, technical team, shooting schedule or release date has been formally confirmed. Reports have linked producer Dil Raju with the proposed project, but that association also remains unofficial.
Ravipudi has previously spoken about his desire to direct Nagarjuna after working with other leading senior Telugu stars. He has also expressed interest in presenting Nagarjuna in an entertainer in the spirit of the actor's earlier comedy-driven films. Those comments establish his interest in collaborating with Nagarjuna, but they do not amount to confirmation of the Chiranjeevi-Nagarjuna project.
Ravipudi's immediate filmmaking schedule is currently tied to his announced multistarrer with Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram, titled January 12 Vidudala and scheduled for release on January 12, 2027. Until the filmmaker or the actors formally announce the Chiranjeevi-Nagarjuna film, its status is best described as a project under reported script development rather than a confirmed production already moving through full pre-production.
