G2, Adivi Sesh's upcoming pan-India spy action thriller, is now being reported for a February 5, 2027 theatrical release. Current reports agree on the date, although they differ on its official status. Cinema Express reported that the makers had locked the date, while other fresh reports said a formal announcement from the production team was still awaited.
The new date would move the Goodachari sequel into early 2027 after an earlier plan to release the film on May 1, 2026. Adivi Sesh had announced that May Day date in August 2025 while revealing that the production involved filming across six countries, 23 sets and 150 shooting days, with a release planned in five languages.

G2 Expands the Goodachari Story
Directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, G2 continues the spy franchise launched with Goodachari in 2018. Sesh returns as the central agent, while Wamiqa Gabbi has joined the sequel as Agent 116. Emraan Hashmi also has a major role, with Supriya Yarlagadda, Murali Sharma and Madhu Shalini among the other reported cast members.
The film is backed by People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts and AK Entertainments. The production has been designed on a larger international scale than the first film, with Adivi Sesh previously confirming shoots across six countries and a five-language theatrical rollout.
For now, February 5, 2027 is the date consistently appearing in the latest reports. Since an independently accessible primary announcement from the producers, director or lead cast confirming the revised date has not yet been located, the date should be treated as the current reported release plan until the team issues its formal update.
