Rashmika Mandanna has completed shooting her portions for Ranabaali, marking an important production milestone for the Vijay Deverakonda-led period action drama. The makers shared a behind-the-scenes update showing the team marking the completion of her work on the film, in which she plays Jayamma.
The latest production update confirms Rashmika's individual shoot wrap, but does not establish that Vijay Deverakonda has finished all of his remaining portions. The film's production and post-production work are continuing as the team prepares for its announced October theatrical release.
Ranabaali Set for October 16 Release
Ranabaali is scheduled to open in theatres worldwide on October 16, 2026. Work on the film's post-production is already underway, with the team previously indicating that background score work for the first half had been completed as part of preparations for the release.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is a period action drama set against British rule in 19th-century India. Vijay Deverakonda plays the central character, while Rashmika Mandanna appears as Jayamma. Arnold Vosloo plays Sir Theodore Hector, the principal antagonist.
Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film, with T-Series presenting it. Ajay-Atul are composing the music and Nirav Shah is handling cinematography. The makers have also indicated that the full version of the song Endhayya Saami will be released as the promotional campaign builds toward the October 16 theatrical launch.
