The makers of ‘Zombie Reddy 2 NXT LVL’ unveiled Real Star Upendra’s first look on September 18, 2026, giving audiences their first clear glimpse of his character in the upcoming zombie sequel.
The poster was released on the occasion of Upendra’s birthday. He joins Teja Sajja and Shanaya Kapoor in the film, which is being mounted as a bigger follow-up to ‘Zombie Reddy’.
What Does Upendra’s First Look Reveal?
The first-look poster features Upendra hanging upside down from a massive tree branch while holding a long weapon. With flowing hair, rugged styling and a dark costume, the actor sports an intense and striking appearance.
The forest backdrop, burning torches and shadowy figures add a dark and mysterious atmosphere to the poster. The makers have also used a tagline suggesting that Upendra’s character is ready to turn the world upside down.
Although the team had already confirmed Upendra as part of the cast, this is the first dedicated character poster featuring him.
The makers have not yet revealed his character’s name or explained how his role connects to the main storyline. However, Upendra is expected to play an important role alongside Teja Sajja, who leads the sequel.
‘Zombie Reddy 2’ Team
Suparn S Varma is directing the sequel, while Prasanth Varma, who directed the original ‘Zombie Reddy’, serves as the creator and writer.
Shanaya Kapoor is also part of the cast and will make her Telugu film debut with the project.
The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner.
Theatrical Release Planned for 2027
The makers have announced the film under the title ‘Zombie Reddy 2 NXT LVL: Dead Or Alive’ and are planning a theatrical release in 2027.
The film is being prepared for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Nepali and Japanese, giving the sequel a wider multilingual reach.
An exact theatrical release date has not yet been announced.
